WINK Camera Studio 1.4 Adds Full ONVIF Profile G Recording Support

ORLANDO, FL - February 1, 2026 - WINK Streaming today announced the release of WINK Camera Studio 1.4, adding comprehensive ONVIF Profile G support that enables users to browse, search, and download recordings stored directly on IP cameras. The update includes an intelligent authentication chain that automatically handles the complex authentication requirements of different camera manufacturers.

Solving the Recording Access Problem

Accessing recordings from IP cameras has traditionally required manufacturer-specific software or complex VMS integrations. WINK Camera Studio 1.4 provides a universal solution using ONVIF Profile G specifications, allowing security professionals to access edge recordings from any compatible camera regardless of manufacturer.

The WINK_OnvifProbe CLI tool now includes two new commands for scripted workflows:

recordings - List all recordings from a camera with track details (codec, resolution, audio)
download - Get replay URIs and optionally download recordings using ffmpeg

These commands enable automation of evidence collection and backup workflows across large camera deployments.
